Origami for kids

I want to try and find an origami animal that a 6 year old would be able to construct on their own without help. This way it would develop their learning skills. If i find one, i would consider putting it on the activity page, as origami is a great way of distracting people and its also fun. Origami is often used to help break habits, like biting nails, smoking, calming down etc

I think that this Swan tutorial is very easy to make. I could type up the instructions and make them fun for the kids so that they could make them in the restaurant.

This is a fish tutorial, but i think that it would be too complicated for a child. Although, it could be made into a family activity or an adult activity.

I don't think that this would be too complicated for a child over the age of 6. With this animal, it is aimed at both boys and girls and also families.  It goes well with the theme of the restaurant and what it is serving. I think this would be appropriate to use.

I think this would be popular with children as dogs and cats are loveable pets. These instuctions don't look too complicated to follow either. I think this origami would be aimed at anyone over the age of 6.

However, this does look complicated to follow. I don't think a 6 year old would be able to do this without constant help from their parents.

This origami looks very easy to construct and I could design some new instructions to make it more friendly for children and easy to follow. A cat would be popular with children because it can be aimed at both genders and still be successful.
